Black Bird Designs Ornament

I decided to stitch "Floral Gift" from the Just Cross Stitch Magazine 2010 Christmas Ornament Issue.  I stitched this design on 32 count platinum linen over two threads with recommended fibers.  I changed the finishing just a little.  I made a flat ornament and added ribbon and buttons to the edge.  Take a look:

Beautiful finish! I LOVE IT!!! The ribbons and buttons are the perfect touch. I have not yet tried a flat ornament finish - but this makes me want to!

This is the cleverest, classiest, most charming finish ever! And the two snowmen with the diagonal ribbon with buttons is another. What exciting inspiration you have given me! Thank you, thank you!
