Plum Street Samplers - "The Flood"

Firstly, A Rose from my Garden:
And Secondly,
I have started on one of my bigger projects -
Take a Look at my progress so far:
Design: The Flood
Designer: Plum Street Samplers
Fabric: 36 Count Vintage Buttercream
Threads: Recommended Needlepoint Inc Silks

I have to tell you - I love this silk floss - It just glides through the fabric so beautifully.  I can't believe I have been missing out on this !!!! I will be using more in the future - that is for sure.  And I must admit I am loving this pattern as well.  It's one of those that you think you won't like when you start it because you are working all of the brown in the Ark - But as you add each part of the design & pick up another color it becomes very enticing.  It is a truly unique & creative design - Well worth the time and the effort as far as I am concerned.  I can't wait to get to the 2x2 critters !!!!

Happy Stitching

Oh, I am so jealous you have this chart and have started it already. I have Paradise Lost but haven't started it. Your Flood looks awesome. This will definitely be a fun one to watch grow ;)

Lovely rose! It's perfect! We don't have roses yet, just the spring flowers so you are very lucky. The flood is looking great so far!

Great progress Patty! It was a toss up between this one and Paradise Lost and I chose the latter. I'm just starting to get mine kitted up. I'll be looking forward to more progress on yours.

Fantastic shots of your flowers! Love that rose!!
