New Project

I am going to try to make a hexagon flower garden quilt.  Here is a photo of my progress making hexagons:
I will use each of the fabrics to make individual flowers -I have not assembled them yet - But I am posting this photo to show you the little box I found at Michael's craft store -
Doesn't it fit my hexagons perfectly !!!!!

I am using a template found here
This site has a freebie hexagon template and gives a free pattern on assembling them for a quilt.
Have a great weekend

Boy, these sure seem popular! Isn't that a lot of sewing? I have no idea how they are put together :oS Love your color choice though and the box is perfect ;o)

Your quilt is going to be really pretty. I love the fabrics you have chosen. Also, neat box. I was wondering before I read your narrative just were you found a box to fit your pieces exactly. I also checked out the site where you found your pattern from. What a neat sight. I did not know of it but had to save it to my favorits category on the computer. Found a couple of quilts that I am going to have to make. I am getting ready to get back into my quilting now that summer is here and my schooling is on hold til fall.
Have a happy holiday weekend.
