Aloe plant & And a Christmas Ornament for 2011

I have run across a number of blogs lately about succulents - So I decided to buy a little Aloe plant.  After all, it would be a shame to live in Florida & not own atleast one:

And I have another 2011 Christmas Ornament Finish:
This pattern is a freebie from:

I love your hexies!!

Your ornament is adorable. Thanks for including the link to the design.

Love your aloe! I killed mine, along with a snake plant. I think the snake plant needed more light and/or a bigger pot, and the aloe needed a bigger pot. How I've managed to keep the plants I *do* have is beyond me!! I love aloe plants, though--my mother has a bunch that she had back from when we were kids & she'd snip off some of the plant when we burned ourselves, etc.

Cute finish!!
I love Aloe plants. I don't have one at the moment but I once kept the same one for 10+ years. Very handy to have around for burns!

The angel's too cool! Thanks for the link. I will certainly plunge...
I've been looking for the chart you mentioned on my blog but haven't been able to find it yet :( . I'm very messy with my charts, (I should take a pic to show you the thousands of papers all dedicated to cross stitch, knitting and quilting, all together with no classment at all) and for the moment, no trace of it. I've found lots of treasures up to now though, completely forgotten (sigh)... I sooo enjoyed stitching this design so when/if I find it, I won't forget to contact you then, Patty.
Have a great week,
Hugs from France,
Lili Bear

I hope to have my own Aloe plant too but I'm not good enough in taking care plants so it's better not to own it. :) Your ornament is looking great, very nice, Patty.
