Mrs. Waddelow's Huswif

I have completed my Huswif !!!
I am so excited because this is the first one I have ever made.
I need more practice with finishing the bias strip- especially in the corners, but
I think that is to be expected being that this is my first time to try it.

The design has several pockets:
With plenty of room to hold scissors, threads, fabric.....
And the pattern has some wonderful detail:

Overall a very good stitch
with very detailed finishing instructions.

Ellen Chester did a marvelous job!

Design: Mrs. Waddelow's Huswif
Designer: With My Needle
Fiber: Carrie's Creations "Bordeaux"

Happy Stitching

Oh my goodnes, Patti, what a wonderful job you did!! You mentioned needing more help with the bias strip, but it looks absolutely perfect to me!!

Your photographs are wonderful. I like all the goodies you have tucked in the pockets.

Thank you for the kind words on the directions. We take a lot of time and great care to try to make sure they are as clear as possible. Don't you love Tom's wonderful assembly diagrams?

I hope you will get a lot of use out of your huswif.

Please send me lots of photos for my blog.

Patty, beautiful job. I love it! I have the chart in my stash along with blue thread and a lovely matching fabric but haven't started stitching it yet. I am intimidated by the finishing process so it might sit a little longer. Congrats on finishing such a gorgeous project.
