Put Your Stamp On It ...

How does one go about making a stamp?
I was stamped stumped!

I started to think about things I like ...
sewing, quilting, cross stitch, linen, lace, crochet, buttons, gardening, un-sweet tea, ...
After all i am supposed to put MY stamp on it - Right!!!

I made a foundation -pieced sewing machine to use as a dust cover for my ...
SEWING MACHINE
I know that was pretty clever wasn't it - lol

I  embellished my little machine with an embroidered needle and some decorative buttons.
I blanket stitched around the entire piece...
then added a 3 double crochet shell stitch border.

I still needed to add "USA" & 46cents to complete the blog hop requirements ...

 "SEW" what do you think?

Here are the links to follow today:
Enjoy the hop !!!!!!!

How sweet! (I have to admit that my eyes played tricks on me when I first saw it and I saw the white on a background of gold instead of a gold sewing machine on a white background!) Cute sewing machine!!!

I especially love the crochet edge Patty. I have always loved that on pillowcases. Thanks for sharing your creativity. You can be proud. I have to say I was stumped too when I thought about making a stamp. I might have to make that a summer goal to see what I can come up with now that I have seen others ideas. (Sew many project SEW little time is the problem.) They have all been very cute. janita
